Backlights are commonly applied to measuring, defect and hole detection, and determining the orientation of parts. 1Vision offers a variety of backlights to suit the needs of various applications:  area, linear, narrow, and our highly compact thin backlights.  Backlights can be configured for wavelength and other specifications.

Specific collimated light source is available for high precision silhouetting and transmissive applications.  Using precision optics, the light is collimated in both the X and Y dimensions.  The light exits at a low divergence angle making it perfect for applications requiring high precision measurements when used with telecentric lens
