Real time image analysis and recording application for thermal cameras
1Vision has developed a real time image analysis and recording application for thermal cameras and sensors.
The real time image processing and analysis operations include:
- NUC - Non-Uniformity Correction (1-point / 2-point / 3-point), with easy calibration and option for saving/reloading the calibrated NUC coefficients.
- BPD and BPR – Bad Pixels Detection and Replacement, with several configurable detection methods and option for saving/reloading the bad pixels list.
- DRC – Dynamic Range Compression for better data visualization to human eye, with 5 selectable methods.
- Pseudo-Color Look-Up Table – several color tables can be selected to visualize hot/cold objects.
- Image Statistics – histogram, minimum, maximum, average and standard deviation of grey values can be calculated for entire image or partial ROI. The ROI can be rectangle, single pixel, row, column or an arbitrary line.
- Line Profile – Graph of pixel values along a single row, column or an arbitrary line.
- Pixel View – display of individual pixel grey values, of ROI up to 32x32 pixels. The pixel values are shown at decimal / hexadecimal or scaled values that represent voltage/current of sensor's electronics.
- Video Recording and Playback – the video data can be recorded to hard drive or RAM memory. The data can be recorded raw without any processing, or after processing: after NUC/BPR only or after entire processing, including DRC and display LUT.
The recorded video files may be later played back and reproduced for further analysis at offline.
